Heart Centered Meditation
Research clearly demonstrates that meditation is beneficial for our health and that it alleviates stress. However, not all meditation techniques have the same effects. Some are more effective than others, and the learning curve can be pretty steep and long term if you don’t know where to start.
At HeartWorks, we teach a technique that evokes heart intelligence and is the most effective way to learn the skills that control stress over the long term.
We also use HeartMath biofeedback, a technology which uses heart rate variability as an indicator of whether you are accomplishing the desired results as you attempt to bring attention to that quality of heart awareness that controls the stress reaction. This technology dramatically shortens the time that it takes to learn heart centered attention skills. The engineer who developed this technology told John Davidson that he had meditated for fifteen years before using the HeartMath program, and that he did more good in three months with this technology than he did in fifteen years using other meditation techniques.
